Annies Garden Bed and Breakfast

Directions

"Annie's Garden is the perfect place to stay while visiting the colleges. We had no hassles with traffic or parking because this B&B is so close to all the campuses. That made this visit to our daughter at Cornell so much more pleasant."
— Jamie and Ari Marmor, Boston, Massachusetts

Gorge Trail

FROM THE EAST: (New York, Washington, etc.)
Leave Interstate 81 at Exit 8 (Whitney Point) and follow signs for 79 west. As you approach Ithaca, look for the sign that reads Brooktondale 2 miles, Ithaca 4. After 2 miles, you'll pass Six Mile Creek Winery on the left. And ½ mile beyond that, you'll see a blinking orange light for Cornell University. Turn right at light (Pine Tree Road) and go 1 mile to stoplight (Citgo station on corner). Turn left onto Mitchell Street and go 1/2 mile to Ithaca city limit. Pearl Street is the first paved street inside the city limit. Turn right onto Pearl. You'll find 220 Pearl on the second block, second house, left-hand side. The number "220" is posted on the distinctive wrap-around Victorian porch.

FROM ALL OTHER DIRECTIONS:
As you approach Ithaca, be on the lookout for signs to Route 79 east. Take Route 79 (Green Street) across town. At the east end of town, Green Street merges with State Street and starts to go uphill. Go .4 miles to the point where Route 79 continues straight and Route 366 forks left. Take 366 (Mitchell Street) and continue .3 miles further; Rt. 366 takes a sharp left, becoming Ithaca Road. Continue straight on Mitchell (going around a traffic bulge) and continue to the 4-way stop at Cornell Street (not marked, school on right). The second left after Cornell Street is Pearl. Continue as above.
